7. Veritas Florida Financial Policy
Tuition Responsibility: Families are responsible for faithfully fulfilling the total amount of tuition by the 10th each month for all students and all classes into which students enroll or re-enroll. This responsibility begins upon being accepted by Veritas and/or payment of the Enrollment or Re-Enrollment Registration Fee.
Payment: Families may decide to pay tuition monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. Families may pay online through the Portal or via mailing a check to Veritas Florida, 11231 US Hwy 1, Suite 102, North Palm Beach, FL 33408 (or current mailing address as seen in the Portal).
All Portal transactions carry a 3% user transaction fee.
All payments (Parent Portal and paper checks) must be received by the tenth (10th) of each month. Checks must be mailed so that they reach Veritas Florida’s box before the 10th as they must be deposited, clear your bank, and be manually entered into the Portal by the 10th. At no time are checks allowed to be taken to or received on campus.
‘Parked’: Non-payment by the 10th will result a Family being ‘Parked’ meaning access to the Portal is denied until payment is made. The student’s Attendance, Assignments submitted for grading, Assignment Sheets, Work Sheets, and teacher consultations are all unavailable until the family is current with tuition payments.
Veritas Recourse for Nonpayment: Following the Matthew 18 Principle, Veritas Florida will address nonpayment by first speaking to parents, then your family’s pastor, then Veritas Florida will prayerfully consider collections and/or seeking a judgment for nonpayment of tuition.
Discounts: Pay In Full: $100; Multi-child: $150 off humanities tuition for second student, $300 off humanities tuition for third student and up (Ex.: 1st student: $2,500; 2nd student: $2,350; 3rd student: $2,200, 4th student: $2,200, 5th student: $2,200 – (continued).
Re-enrollment: Each fall, current families who are in good standing are invited to re-enroll with Veritas for the next school year. This process has two steps: selecting the programs into which you desire your student to enroll for the next school year (humanities, math, science, and Scholars Day) and remitting the Re-Enrollment Registration Fee on or before January 1st. Families who do not complete this process by January 1st are considered New Families and must complete the Open Enrollment process (apply and pay an increased Enrollment Registration Fee, which begins January 2nd.
Use of Curriculum & School program: Veritas Florida curriculum and program is proprietary. By enrolling, families agree: 1). not to use or copy our materials with any intention of starting, helping to start or establishing a similarly fashioned academic program; and 2). that the Veritas Florida community is comprised of our enrolled families, faculty, staff, administrators, and church partners. As an enrolled family, I/we will not conduct conversations or business within the Veritas Florida community with the intent of helping to start or establish a similarly fashioned academic program. Therefore, our book lists, curriculum, Assignment Sheets, worksheets, handouts, and the unique structure and implementation of our program must not be shared or copied, simulated, sold, or otherwise used except for the sole intent and purpose of educating the student during the year the student is enrolled. Therefore, any such usage of Veritas-related curriculum or program to parties within or external to Veritas is prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate dismissal. Further legal action may be taken to protect Veritas Florida’s investment, goodwill, and integrity of our program and materials, programming, and structure. Parents understand they are not allowed to share any Veritas Florida items found in the Parent Folder .zip file with other parents at any time for any reason. Parents who have need of these items should be in good standing with Veritas Florida and assisted by Phillip or Robin McEuen.
Early Withdrawal/Suspension/Dismissal – I understand that withdrawal or suspension/dismissal/expulsion of my child from Humanities and/or any Electives classes at any point in the year, the tuition and fees paid to date are not refundable and I remain responsible for faithfully paying the entire financial obligation for the school year by the 10th of each remaining month.
